A Place to Talk
A Place to Talk is student-to-student peer listening for the Hopkins community. APTT provides a comfortable environment for anyone to discuss anything, from everyday frustrations to servious concerns. APTT is located in the AMR I lobby, next to the study lounge as well as the MSE Library Q-level.
The Career Center serves all full-time students in the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering. Whether you are just beginning to think about choosing a major or are interested in interviewing in a targeted field, the Career Center is the place to visit for assistance. The Counseling Center
The Counseling Center serves full-time undergradate and graduate students from the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Engineering, Nursing, and the Peabody Institute. All services are free of charge and confidential. They are located at 3003 N. Charles St., Suite S-200, (410) 516-8278.
The Office of Student Disability Services assists the University with ADA and Section 504 compliance. All admitted students who wish to receive accommodations may contact the office to discuss how the University could provide reasonable and necessary accommodations. Reasonable accommodations provide equitable access to programs or facilities and do not fundamentally alter the essential nature of a course or academic program. The Sheridan Libraries encompass the Milton S. Eisenhower Library and its collections at the Albert D. Hutzler Reading Room in Gilman Hall, the John Work Garrett Library at Evergreen House and the George Peabody Library at Mt. Vernon Place.
The Writing Center offers assistance at any stage of the writing process. The center is open Sundays through Thursdays from 2-10 pm. They are located in the north wing of the Hutzler Reading Room, (410) 516-4258.
