Throughout the month of April, we'll be hosting daily events just for admitted students. A calendar of events and registration forms will be available in late March--check back then for more information!
Registration is required for these programs; check back in late March for a complete listing and registration form.
Information sessions: Separate from our daily information sessions for prospective students, these programs will give admitted students the chance to ask more detailed questions in a smaller group.
Campus tours: The best way to picture yourself on campus is to take a guided tour of our 140-acre Homewood campus. Tours will be only for admitted students, giving you a chance to ask tour guides more pertinent questions about the undergraduate experience.
Lunch with a student: Enjoy lunch on us as you have a one-on-one chat with a current student in the Fresh Foods Café, our freshman dining hall. (Please note: This program is designed for—and lunch is only provided for—the admitted student. Parents and families will find many dining options on and around campus.)
Engineering tours: Special 75-minute tours that focus on facilities and learning opportunities in the Whiting School of Engineering are led by current engineering students and feature engineering research centers that are not part of the standard campus tour. Tour guides, as well as faculty and graduate students, will discuss opportunities for undergraduates to study and participate in research across all engineering disciplines. Due to the space constraints of our labs, we request that you limit your party size to three people, including yourself. Please note: engineering tours depart from Mason Hall at noon; we strongly recommend that if you will also be taking the regular campus tour that you register for the 2:00 p.m. admitted student tour, as the 11:00 a.m. campus tour will not return to Mason Hall in time for you to join the engineering tour.
Housing tours: Take a sneak peek at your future home with an exclusive tour of the freshman dorms. This student-guided tour will take you off of our standard tour path to show you different rooms. Please bring your ID with you to enter dorms. If you are also registering for lunch with a student, the housing tour will bring you to FFC for lunch; if not, your tour guide will escort you back to Mason Hall. Due to the space constraints of our housing tours, we request that you limit your party size to three people, including yourself.
