Heather Fisher, Technical Editor | Center for Teaching and Learning
“This year, I celebrate 10 years of experience in the Center for Teaching and Learning, where I began as a casual Quality Confirmation Specialist before advancing to full-time Medical Editor. I am part of the team that produces CoursePlus, Coursera, and other online platform lecture content for all BSPH departments. In December 2021, I was elected as a Non-exempt Staff Representative to the newly formed Bloomberg School of Public Health Staff Assembly and, soon after, as the Staff Assembly’s inaugural Parliamentarian, an officer role I proudly held for two years. In my time at BSPH (all of which has been fully remote), I have valued collaborations with folks from all departments, all office groups, and all work modalities. I believe representation matters, and I am committed to representing our diverse staff’s viewpoints, wants, and needs at the university level and to communicating with BSPH staff members about universitywide issues and opportunities that directly affect them.”
