Number of open council seats: 1 non-exempt (overtime eligible)
Sikoka Frett, Admissions & Registration Specialists | Admissions “I joined Carey as an Admissions Representative in January of 2022, and so have been with JHU for just shy of 3 years. In the short time I have been with Carey, I have been able to really lean into my passions and do work that I truly enjoy. I would like to take that passion to the larger community of JHU and be a part of the Staff Advisory Council. Continuing to embody Carey’s values of boundless curiosity, unwavering humanity, collaborative leadership, and relentless advancement, I would like to work with other staff members across the university and university leadership to continue to create and cultivate an environment for everyone.” |
Catherine Wilkerson, Learning Technologist | Teaching and Learning @ Carney “I have been with JHU for 1 year as an FTE, Contractor 2 years prior – 3 years total. In my current role, I am a Learning Technologist in the Teaching and Learning @ Carey department. I am interested in joining the Staff Advisory Council as someone who has transitioned from Contractor to FTE. This transition gave me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within our internal processes at Carey and JHU as a whole. This is a chance to continue to voice what I see as not only the challenges but also the opportunities around onboarding, professional development, and internal growth. |
