Rudolf-Ivctor Dinglas, Director of Planning and Operations, Government | Centers for Government Excellence & Public Innovation “As Chief of Staff at the Bloomberg Center for Government Excellence (GovEx), I bring a unique perspective shaped by over 16 years of experience in public policy, organizational strategy, and performance management. My role at GovEx has provided me with extensive opportunities to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration across diverse groups, and implement initiatives that promote equity, innovation, and impact in local governments. These experiences have honed my ability to navigate complex systems, advocate for staff needs, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. In addition to my professional experience, I am deeply committed to creating inclusive and supportive environments that empower staff and advance organizational excellence. As a member of the Staff Advisory Council, I would leverage my expertise to amplify the voices of my colleagues, enhance communication between staff and university leadership, and champion initiatives that align with the university’s mission and values. My academic background, including a Ph.D. in Public Policy, further equips me to address the multifaceted challenges and opportunities that arise in fostering a vibrant and engaged staff community at Johns Hopkins University. I look forward to the opportunity to serve as a bridge between staff and leadership, advocating for policies and practices that support staff well-being, professional growth, and meaningful contributions to our university’s success.” |
Deontaye White, Innovation Practice Administrator, BCP | Centers for Government Excellence & Public Innovation “Hello, my name is Deontaye White, and I have been with Johns Hopkins University for 2 years. In my current role as an Innovation Practice Administrator for BCPI within the Centers for Government Excellence & Public Innovation, I focus on fostering collaboration and driving impactful initiatives that align with our institutional goals. My ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, combined with a forward-thinking mindset, allows me to contribute meaningfully to shaping the future of our institution. As a former collegiate athlete, I have developed a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and collaboration—skills I continue to apply in my professional endeavors. My prior experience on advisory committees, including the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Morgan State University, has further honed my ability to represent diverse interests, foster engagement, and cultivate a sense of community. I am eager to bring my dedication, perspective, and collaborative spirit to the Staff Advisory Council to help enhance the experiences and opportunities available to staff across the university.” |
