Marz Macahia, Sr. Technical Support Analyst | Information Technology Services “Hello, my name is Marz Macahia. I have been with SON JHU for 2 years. In my current role, I am a Sr. Technical Support Analyst in the Information Technology Services department. I am interested in joining the Staff Advisory Council because I previously served on the SON Staff Assembly for 1 year. I wish to continue serving Hopkins as a council member, to help advocate for the members of the SON. In my previous role, I was the part of the Training, Development, and Retention subcommittee. During my time there I was able to use my experience with the various departments that I volunteer assisting, to grant more visibility to initiatives such as a mentoring program and a “SON Buddy” program. These initiatives were able to have a deeper impact due to the position I was previously serving in, and I feel if I am able to serve with the Staff Advisory Council that I would be a strong advocate for my fellow staff members to be heard.”
